Bernie and I both want to express our appreciation to you and your crews for your wonderful service every step of the way in helping us empty and close a big old Victorian house that we had lived in for a long time. We were very impressed with how efficient and experienced you were in this whole process, including packing, moving and storing furniture, painting, and other objects, running the tag sale and doing the final clean-up for the closing. It was great to have all this coordinated in your overall system, it made it so much easier and smoother for us. We were also very impressed and appreciative of how supportive you were to us, available whenever we called with problems, and giving us excellent advise throughout.

We wanted to let you know how pleased we were with your services from start to finish. We were moving from a very large house to a much smaller condo, so almost everything had to go. We were amazed that your staff was able to organize all of the items that were literally on the floor in every room and set everything up so our house looked like a department store!! Everyone on your staff was nice, friendly and knowledgeable.
Our moving crew was also great. They were professional and we were confident that our things would arrive at our new home safe and sound.

Story Between Two Clients”
This Email was cropped from a conversation between a client and a prospective client of mine. The story goes that Sam (Prospective client) was going back and forth for 4 months. His parents had passed and he was completely overwhelmed with the prospects of emptying and selling the home in which he grew up in. Now living down south, he had spent months schlepping back and forth between homes with little progress. With an abundance of angst about his 3rd trip to Long Island, he decided to email an old friend that he hadn’t seen in a while. Sam’s email described the predicament he was facing. What Sam didn’t know was that his old friend had recently been in a similar predicament. The fact that Sam’s friend had always stayed on Long Island allowed him the discernment of knowing where to turn during his difficult situation.
The following Email is part of the response Sam’s friend gave him;
First, I contacted Sisters In Charge. “the tag, moving, clean-out & estate sales specialists” The woman came right away & was quite helpful insofar as what was of value or not. She suggested that we hold a tag sale because it would not be quite worth it for us to retain her.. She offered to advertise the sale on her web site & tack up fliers for free. Uh-uh, not for me!!! She did not charge us.
She then put me in contact with her son, Robert, & his company, Relocators. He was just as responsive & came to the site for a free estimate. On the same day he arranged for other people to come. So, I sold stuff for cash & Robert took the stuff to donate. He subsequently send me a Donor’s copy for inclome tax purposes.
The final bill was $1550. & the place was “broom clean” as they say. I would’ve paid double!! It was in & out in a day.
Sam, I do not know these people & I Never Never, offer recommendations to my friends. They were simply great, and at a time when I just needed the matter resolved efficiently.
I can’t rave enough about this company. I am totally satisfied with their service. they were contracted to empty the contents of my parents home to prepare for a sale; the home consisted of a first floor, second floor, basement, garage and yard- Totally packed. My parents lived in this home for over 60 years and were collectors- garage sale affectionados. Arriving on time as arranged all the workers were pleasant and introduced themselves by first name- there were 7-8 workers. They worked for 8 hours. They were not only efficient, but very careful moving items out of the house. When they finished clearing out of the house they vacuumed and swept the floors. I am ready to list the house for sale. The price was fair and competitive- well worth the money.
Hi Angelo: Just to let you know that all the furniture is back. the movers were exceptional. They were polite, very careful with handling the furniture, extremely helpful and very professional. I would not hesitate to recommend them. Thank you for finding them for me.

Robert – I just wanted to thank you for helping me clean out my uncle’s apartment. It was a long and arduous process for me but once you walked into the apartment and told me to just leave everything as it was and you would take care of it, I felt a tremendous weight lifted from my shoulders.
The team of five guys were terrific. They were on time, very courteous, respectful and extremely efficient. They did everything I asked of them and did it with a smile.
On my way out of the building, I stopped by the management office to turn in my keys. I gave them your card and told them that I recommend you highly.

You just completed the huge job at my in-laws house. It was a house with an attic, basement, garage and 2 family units that belonged to my in-laws, who if not by definition could be called hoarders, they certainly could be described as a collector of “stuff” over the past 50+ years. I really didn’t know how you could do this job.
Of course, you did the job professionally and beautifully. After 16 dumpsters and very hard work by your staff, the house was truly “broom clean”.

Dear Rob: I just wanted to write and thank you for the outstanding job your company did on my sister-in-law’s property. Having her pass away suddenly and then having to deal with the cleanup of her home was overwhelming for us. I live out of town and didn’t know where to begin with this project. As I searched the internet for companies to get quotes from, I came upon your website and figured I’d call and see if your company did this kind of work. Diana was very helpful and courteous. She was able to answer my questions and I immediately had a good feeling. When my sister-in-law …….. met you at the house for the estimate, she walked away feeling the same thing. All of the phone calls before the appointments and as your staff were meeting us at the house were most appreciated. When your staff arrived at the house, they were very polite and introduced themselves. They were extremely professional and worked harder than I’ve ever seen anyone work. They had a wonderful system loading the pails and trucks. It was all so seamless and painless for us. We appreciated their kindness when they found something of our sister-in-law’s that they thought we would like to have. We were really touched. At the end, Julio walked us through the house to make sure we were satisfied with their work. We were shocked just how clean they were able to get the inside and outside of the house. I wanted to thank you for the fabulous job you did in moving me after the terrible time I experienced during Hurricane Sandy. This was so traumatic to me and your employees made this transition back to normal so much easier. I would recommend your services to anyone with pleasure and will be calling you when my lease is up in July in my Manhattan apartment to move the furniture back to Long Island.
I have been so impressed with your professionalism I am looking forward to your recommendations for more services. I am writing this endorsement of both Sisters in Charge and Relocators. Back in the Fall of 2011, I was out on Long Island helping my mother sell her house and move closer to me.
Sisters in Charge was the first service I used. They came out on a Friday in December 2011 to prepare the house for an Estate Sale to occur the following Sunday. They showed up promptly at 9am and worked till 5pm, setting items up. When I say they, it was a crew of 5 who brought tables and other items to display my collectibles properly. On Sunday they again were on time and as Denise promised there was a long line waiting at the door to get in. The sale went very well and a large amount of items were sold. After the sale, they cleaned up and settled the takings with us. Denise was very precise on the collection both prior and after sale.
A month later, the house was sold and it was time to clean it out. I was moving mom out of state (over 1000 miles) using a U-Haul. Robert of Relocators brought his crew, 4 total to load up the U-Haul for us and then empty out any remaining items in the house. We were on a tight schedule and he and his crew completed the task in 3 hours. They did a great job loading up the U-Haul and all items made it safely to their final destinations.
I would definitely recommend both these companies for your Estate Sales and Clean-Out needs.

Once again I would like to thank you and your team for your services. Your company moved my Dad’s belongings from his home of 50+ years to an apartment. Not only did you move his things but you took care of cleaning out and donating all that we left.
Six months later we called again to have you empty out Dad’s apartment since he had passed away. You and your team could not have been more attentive. I was truly touched by your compassion and consideration. You really go the extra mile and beyond as I discovered when I contacted you the day after the move to let you know that I left behind a painting that held sentimental value to my son. Sure enough between you and Frankie you located the painting and mailed it the next day. Thank you, thank you, thank you… my son could not believe. It has become a “feel good” story that I have shared with many. You are a rare find.
